Isostatic Pressing Molds
The characteristics of isostatic pressing are similar to the principle of isostatic pressing. Axial pressing molding is unidirectional or bidirectional pressure pressing, powder and mold friction is larger, pressure along the pressing direction will produce pressure loss, so that the density of each part of the blank body is not uniform. The pressure transmitted by the liquid medium in isostatic pressing is equal in all directions. When the elastic mold is subjected to the pressure of the liquid medium, the deformation is transferred to the powder in the mold. The friction between the powder and the mold wall is small, the force of the blank body is uniform, the density distribution is uniform, and the product performance is greatly improved.
