The product form of graphite
(1) High purity graphite
It is mainly used for stabilizing agent in military and industrial materials and industrial catalysis in other industries. It has crystal integrity and very good thermal conductivity.
(2) Isostatic graphite
Isostatic graphite is an extension of high purity graphite, mainly processed from high purity graphite, has the characteristics of high purity graphite, has the main characteristics of small expansion rate when heated, excellent heat conduction performance after heating.
(3) Expandable graphite
Expandable graphite mainly selects natural arrangement of natural flake graphite, mainly after acidic oxidation treatment of interlayer compounds, the body has the advantages of high temperature resistance, high heat resistance, increase the expansibility of graphite
(4) Fluorine fossil ink

Uses of graphite
(1) Refractory materials
In iron and steel industry, graphite refractory materials used in arc blast furnace and oxygen converter refractory lining, ladle refractory lining, etc. Graphite refractories are mainly integral casting materials, magnesium-carbon bricks and aluminum-graphite refractories. Graphite is also used in powder metallurgy and metal casting film forming materials, graphite powder added to molten steel to increase the carbon content of steel, so that high carbon steel has many excellent properties.
(2) Conductive materials
Used in the electrical industry for the manufacture of electrodes, brushes, carbon rods, carbon tubes, mercury positives, graphite washers, telephone parts, TV picture tube coating.
(3) Wear-resistant lubricating materials
Graphite is often used as a lubricant in the machinery industry. Lubricating oil often can not be used in high speed, high temperature, high pressure conditions, and graphite wear-resistant materials can be in the temperature of -200 ~ 2000℃ at a very high sliding speed, without lubricating oil work. Many corrosive media conveying equipment, widely used graphite materials made of piston cups, seals and bearings, they do not need to add lubricating oil when running.
(4) Corrosion-resistant materials
After special processing of graphite, with corrosion resistance, good thermal conductivity, low permeability, it is widely used in the production of heat exchanger, reaction tank, condenser, combustion tower, absorption tower, cooler, heater, filter, pump equipment. Widely used in petrochemical industry, hydrometallurgy, acid and alkali production, synthetic fiber, paper and other industrial sectors, can save a lot of metal materials.
(5) High-temperature metallurgical materials
Due to the small coefficient of thermal expansion of graphite, and the resistance to rapid cooling and rapid heat change, can be used as a glass casting mold, the use of graphite after the black metal casting size is accurate, surface smooth yield is high, without processing or slightly processed can be used, thus saving a lot of metal. The production of hard alloy and other powder metallurgy process, usually made of graphite materials for pressing and sintering of porcelain boats. Monocrystalline silicon crystal growth crucible, zone refining vessel, bracket fixture, induction heater and so on are processed with high purity graphite. In addition, graphite can also be used for vacuum smelting graphite insulation plate and base, high temperature resistance furnace tube and other components.
(6) Atomic energy and national defense industry
Graphite has good neutron retarder and is used in atomic reactor. Uranium-graphite reactor is a kind of atomic reactor which is widely used at present. As the decelerating material used for power nuclear reactor should have high melting point, stability, corrosion resistance, graphite can fully meet the above requirements. Graphite used as an atomic reactor requires high purity, with no more than a few dozen parts per million of impurities. In particular, boron content should be less than 0.5ppm. In the defense industry, graphite is also used to make nozzles for solid fuel rockets, nose cones for missiles, parts for space navigation equipment, heat insulation and radiation protection materials.
