The isostatic pressing process is as follows:
(1) Mold preparation mold should choose oil resistant and heat resistant materials, such as mold made of natural rubber soaked in transformer oil can only be used 1-2 times, so when transformer oil is the pressure medium, neoprene rubber with good oil resistance is generally selected, and polyvinyl chloride plastic film can also be used to make mold.
(2) There are many kinds of raw materials for charging into the mold, such as calcined petroleum coke powder (can not be used as a binder), calcined petroleum coke powder and asphalt mixed into paste grinding powder used. After the calcined petroleum coke is ground into powder propyl and mixed with powder asphalt, different raw materials and ratios can be used to obtain different forming effects and different physical and mechanical properties. When charging, it should vibrate at the same time, so that the powder raw material is initially dense in the mold. After the material is loaded, the mold should be properly shaped by hand, and then the other end of the mold is stuffed with rubber plug or plastic plug and tied with iron wire. To prevent the invasion of the liquid medium into the mold, in order to make the gas in the powder can be fully discharged under pressure, the exhaust pipe is inserted into the powder in advance, and the external vacuum pump is pumped to produce some spherical products, the powder should be prepressed into a ball by the molding method, and then placed in the isostatic molding mold of the corresponding size; Then put the powder filled mold in the high-pressure container, seal the high-pressure container after the entrance pressure.
(3) Pressure boost and depressor start the high pressure pump, inject the liquid medium into the high pressure vessel, and pay close attention to the pressure boost and exhaust situation. The pressure is generally carried out gradually in stages. For example, the pressure is first increased to 5MPa and kept for a period of time, so that the gas in the mold is partially discharged. Therefore, after the pressure in the high-pressure vessel drops slightly, the pressure is raised again to about 20MPa, and the volume of the powder shrinks again after discharging part of the gas, and then the pressure is raised again to the required working pressure, and maintained at the selected high pressure for 20-60min, and then the pressure is lowered until the pressure drops to normal pressure. After opening the entrance of the high-pressure vessel, the mold can also be heated to increase the pressure of the high-pressure vessel. Because the liquid volume expands when heated, the pressure automatically rises after heating, but the automatic rise of the pressure has a certain limit.
