The traditional and early isostatic pressure molds are mostly isostatic pressure rubber sleeves made of rubber. However, with the emergence and application of new materials, polyurethane isostatic pressure rubber sleeve mold has gradually replaced rubber isostatic pressure mold. Because of the use of isostatic pressing special polyurethane material, it can be accurately formed, reduce subsequent processing, save powder, non-stick powder, easy to release, extend the service life of the mold and other effects.

Some molds with low added value and low requirements can still use rubber isostatic pressure rubber sleeves, and polyurethane isostatic pressure molds are used for some high-end applications, precision molding, special-shaped parts molding and so on.

There are very few manufacturers of isostatic polyurethane materials in China, and the so-called isostatic molding with ordinary polyurethane raw materials cannot meet the high-end needs of customers.

From the physical point of view, the strength of the rubber material will be much different from that of the isostatic pressure special polyurethane rubber sleeve, including wear resistance, rebound, tear productivity and other aspects. Therefore, the service life of the jacket made of polyurethane will be greatly improved. In some large parts, or on the isostatic pressure of the powder with a large shrinkage ratio, the characteristics of the polyurethane isostatic pressure rubber sleeve will be more obvious.

Polyurethane has better resistance to water, oil and oxidation. This can also promote the polyurethane isostatic pressure mold has a longer service life, and can also be stored for a long time. Rubber for a long time, may produce brittle, surface sticky and other phenomena, polyurethane isostatic pressure mold after use clean and save, long-term placement does not affect the performance.
