As a forming process, isostatic pressing technology, compared with conventional forming consolidation technology (such as die pressing, slip casting, hot pressing, extrusion, casting, etc.), the powder can be evenly compressed in all directions during pressing, and there is no friction between the powder and the mold wall when the steel die is pressed, so that uniform forming can be achieved. Isostatic pressing technology is replacing the conventional forming and consolidation technology in many fields because of its products' advantages in size, shape and performance.

The density of the powder parts of isostatic pressing is high, which is generally 5-10% higher than that of one-way bidirectional molding. By comparing the density of iron powder pressed by different methods, the density of iron powder pressed by cold isostatic is the highest. The relative density of sintered powder metallurgy parts is only about 95%, and the relative density of hot isostatic pressing products can reach 99.80- 99.99%.

Isostatic forming refers to the forming method that the powder in the elastic die sleeve is pressed evenly in all directions at the same time by means of the static pressure of high pressure fluid, and the density distribution is uniform and the strength is high.

Advantages:

1. Can form concave, hollow and other complex shapes.

2. The relative movement between the powder and the elastic mold is small, the friction loss is small, and the pressing pressure is lower than that of the steel mold.

3. Can press a variety of metal powder and non-metal powder; The compact density distribution is uniform and the crushing strength is higher.

4. CIP mold material is rubber, plastic, low cost.

Cold isostatic pressing can be divided into wet belt mould pressing and dry belt mould pressing according to powder loading and pressure form. Wet strip mold pressing: Advantages:
