Wet (wet bag method) isostatic pressing: the billet (or pre-pressed treatment) is wrapped in an elastic plastic or rubber mold, sealed in a high-pressure cylinder, and the body is compressed by liquid transfer. This method can change the shape and size of the plastic envelope, and the product is very flexible, suitable for small-scale production. But every time to carry out manual bagging, unloading operation, production efficiency is not high. This method is mainly used for the production of large and shaped parts. Dry (dry bag method) isostatic pressing: the elastic die is semi-fixed, not immersed in the liquid medium, but sealed by the upper and lower pistons. The pressure pump injects the liquid medium between the high-pressure cylinder and the pressurized rubber, and transfers the pressure through the liquid and the pressurized rubber to make the body pressurized. This method can be operated continuously, that is, the upper cover of the mold is opened, the material is loaded, and then the upper cover is pressurized to form, and when the material is discharged, the upper cover is opened and the compact is pushed out from the top through the top rod at the bottom. Short operation cycle, suitable for mass production.
