Types and characteristics of isostatic pressing technology: According to the temperature classification during sample forming and pre-pressing, isostatic pressing technology can be divided into three types: cold isostatic pressing, warm isostatic pressing and hot isostatic pressing. Cold isostatic pressing technology refers to the isostatic pressing technology realized under normal temperature conditions. Usually, plastic and plastic are used as casing mold materials, and liquid is used as the working pressure substance. The working pressure is 100~630MPa, which is suitable for powder shaped. Its purpose is to provide preforms for the next process of calcination, forging or hot isostatic pressing. 

 

The cold isostatic press technology is a new type of powder forming and pre-pressing technology developed according to Pascal's principle. Pascal's basic principle is also called the basic principle of negative pressure transmission. Its specific content is that the gas pressure added to the closed liquid state can be transmitted from the liquid state to different directions without changing the size. In other words, in a closed container , the pressure of the gas added to the terminating liquid state will be passed to the points together in equivalence. Isostatic pressing technology was first developed by the Westinghouse Light Bulb Company in the United States in 1913. Then, isostatic pressing technology and application scale developed rapidly, and it has been widely used in casting, nuclear energy, plastics, high-purity graphite, Porcelain, permanent magnet materials, microbial drug production, food refrigeration and military industries.
