Isostatically Pressed Powder Metallurgy

There are roughly two types of powder metallurgy parts molding: compression molding and injection molding. Warm pressing, cold closed steel mold pressing, cold isostatic pressing, and hot isostatic pressing all belong to pressing. Compression molding, filling the mold with dry powder by gravity, and extrusion molding by external pressure.

Isostatic presses are usually used in the production and testing of powder materials such as ceramics, powder metallurgy, cemented carbide, magnetic materials, carbon graphite, etc., and can also be used in new development fields such as seawater testing and seafood shelling treatment.
