Isostatic die commonly used polyurethane isostatic die and rubber isostatic die. In traditional isostatic pressure equipment, rubber is widely used because it is used in isostatic pressure die earlier. But in recent years, polyurethane has gradually become known to people. Because of its excellent elasticity, it is replacing rubber products in various industries at an amazing rate, including isostatic rubber molds in isostatic pressure equipment. What are the advantages of polyurethane isostatic die compared with rubber isostatic die? It is mainly reflected in the following aspects:
1. A wider range of applications. Polyurethane material has a wide range of hardness, and can be made into isostatic die with different hardness according to different equipment or pressing process. For example, when pressing large size workpiece, polyurethane material with greater hardness is used to make rigid molds, which have good supporting force when loading, and molds will not be deformed; In pressing some special-shaped parts, the use of low hardness polyurethane soft die, easy to release after pressing, easy to use. These characteristics are not satisfied by isostatic pressure rubber mold.
2. Polyurethane isostatic pressure mold precision is higher. Polyurethane mold is made by pouring, with higher precision and more uniform material. When pressing high-precision products, it has more obvious advantages.
3. Mall deformation, high yield. Polyurethane isostatic pressure mold is poured from liquid polyurethane prepolymer, the material is more uniform, the pressure transfer process is more uniform, and there will be no bending or distortion.
4. Longer service life. Polyurethane has better pressure resistance than rubber, quick rebound after pressure, small deformation, long time use accuracy does not reduce. Moreover, the surface of isostatic pressure rubber mold is easy to oxidize and produce paste when used for a long time. The polyurethane material has oxidation resistance, and the mold performance will not be reduced after long time use or placement.
5. The surface of the polyurethane mold is more smooth, the surface of the finished product is also very smooth, the post-processing is reduced, the efficiency is improved, the cost is reduced.
6. Easy to demoulding. Polyurethane has good rebound, non-stick material, rapid release after pressing, less post-processing and high efficiency.
