DESCRIPTION

Polyurethane Isostatic Pressing Bags

Characteristics of isostatic pressing

The characteristics of isostatic pressing are similar to the principle of isostatic pressing. Axial pressing molding is unidirectional or bidirectional pressure pressing, powder and mold friction is larger, pressure along the pressing direction will produce pressure loss, so that the density of each part of the blank body is not uniform. The pressure transmitted by the liquid medium in isostatic pressing is equal in all directions. When the elastic mold is subjected to the pressure of the liquid medium, the deformation is transferred to the powder in the mold. The friction between the powder and the mold wall is small, the force of the blank body is uniform, the density distribution is uniform, and the product performance is greatly improved.

Classification of isostatic pressing

Wet isostatic pressure

The pre-pressed billet is wrapped in an elastic plastic or rubber mold, sealed and placed in a high-pressure cylinder, and the billet body is compressed and formed through liquid transfer.

Dry isostatic pressure

The elastic die is semi-fixed, not immersed in the liquid medium, but sealed by the upper and lower pistons. The pressure pump will inject the liquid medium into the high pressure cylinder and the pressure rubber between, through the liquid and the pressure rubber will be transferred to the blank body compression molding. Generalized isostatic molding is also divided into cold isostatic pressure and hot isostatic pressure

(In a broad sense, isostatic pressing can also be divided into cold isostatic pressing and Hot isostatic pressing.) Cold isostatic pressing is a method of forming a workpiece at room temperature. Hot isostatic pressing is a special sintering method in which the workpiece is formed and sintered at high temperature and high pressure. Hot isostatic pressing is mainly used in the molding of high performance powder material products, such as powder metallurgy superalloy, powder metallurgy high speed steel, ceramic materials and other industrial production.

Application of isostatic pressing

Isostatic pressing process products have the advantages of uniform organization structure, high density, small sintering shrinkage rate, low die cost, high production efficiency, can be formed in complex shape, slender products and large size products and precision size products, is a more advanced molding process, with its unique advantages began to replace the traditional molding methods. Such as ceramic production of spark plug, porcelain ball, plunger, vacuum tube shell and other products, showing more and more broad application prospects.
