Principle of cold isostatic pressing

Cold isostatic pressing technology is also divided into wet bag method and dry bag method.

Wet bag isostatic pressing needs to be pre-pressed plastically in advance, sealed and placed in a high-pressure cylinder. It is usually suitable for small-scale production of large and special-shaped parts, because it needs to manually load and unload wet bags every time, which is not efficient.

The isostatic pressing of the dry bag method is to semi-fix the mold without immersing it in the liquid medium, only need to fill the mold, and then the upper cover is pressurized and formed. It can be operated continuously and is suitable for mass production.
