The cold Isostatic pressing process uses a liquid media, such as water or an oil or glycol-mixed water, to apply pressure to the powder. The powder is contained in a mold to preserves the shape of the mold.
The three main advantages of Isostatic pressing process are high Theoretical Density, improved material properties and safer and more efficient production.
This process increases mechanical properties, makes the material less prone to corrosion deterioration. It is an economical method.
