Main Uses of Isostatic Press Graphite
Isostatic pressing graphite is a new product developed in the world in recent 50 years, which is closely related to today's high technology. Isostatic press graphite has the properties of high-temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, high strength, good conductivity, and thermal conductivity, self-lubrication, low coefficient of thermal expansion, and good strength at high temperature. Isostatic pressure graphite is widely used in high-tech fields such as machinery, chemical industry, electronics, aerospace, and nuclear industry.
Main Uses of Isostatic Press Graphite
Heater for Czochralski monocrystalline silicon thermal field and polycrystalline silicon ingot furnace
In the thermal field of Czochralski monocrystalline silicon, there are about 30 kinds of isostatic pressure graphite components, such as crucible, heater, electrode, heat insulation shield plate, seed crystal holder, the base for rotating crucible, various round plates, heat reflection plates, etc. Among them, 80% of isostatic pressing graphite is used to manufacture crucibles and heaters.
In the manufacturing process of the polycrystalline silicon wafer of the solar cell, polycrystalline silicon fragments must be melted and cast into a polycrystalline silicon square ingot. The heater of the ingot furnace needs to be made of isostatic pressure graphite.
Atomic energy industry
Nuclear fission reactor (high-temperature gas-cooled reactor): graphite is a moderator and excellent reflector of neutrons;
Nuclear fusion reactor: graphite material with good thermal conductivity and high mechanical strength is used as wall material facing the plasma.
EDM electrode
EDM with graphite or copper as the electrode is widely used in metal molds and other processing fields.
Graphite crystallizer for non-ferrous metal continuous casting
Isostatic pressing graphite has become the main material for making crystallizers because of its good properties in heat conduction, thermal stability, self-lubrication, anti-wetting, and chemical inertia.
Other uses
Isostatic press graphite is also used to make sintering molds of diamond tools and cemented carbide, thermal field components of optical fiber wire drawing machine (heater, insulating cylinder, etc.), thermal field components of vacuum heat treatment furnace (heater, bearing frame, etc.), heat exchanger, mechanical seal components, piston ring, bearing, rocket nozzle, etc.
