Isostatically Pressed Powder Metallurgy

There are roughly two types of powder metallurgy parts molding: compression molding and injection molding. There are many types of compression molding, and in practical industrial applications, compression molding is widely used. Warm pressing, cold closed steel mold pressing, cold isostatic pressing, and hot isostatic pressing all belong to pressing. Compression molding, filling the mold with dry powder by gravity, and extrusion molding by external pressure.

Isostatic pressing is a molding mode for preparing materials. Isostatic pressing utilizes the characteristics of liquid to transmit pressure evenly in all directions, so as to achieve uniform pressure of the product and uniform density of the product.
