Basic concept of isostatic pressed graphite
Special graphite material refers to the carbon mass fraction of more than 99.99% graphite, also known as "three high graphite" (high strength, high density, high purity), belongs to the new carbon material. Isostatic pressure means that equal pressure is applied to the sealed material in all directions at the same time. Isostatic press molding is the material to be pressurized after being sealed in a high pressure container, using the incompressible nature of the liquid medium and the property of uniform pressure transfer from all directions to the material for uniform pressure, when the liquid medium through the pressure pump into the pressure vessel, according to the principle of fluid mechanics, the pressure is constant and evenly transferred to all directions. So the pressure on the powder in the high-pressure vessel is uniform and uniform in all directions. The method of using the above method to compact the powder into a blank body is called isostatic pressing. Isostatic pressing graphite materials have the characteristics of isotropy, and the characteristics of the material have nothing to do with the size, shape and sampling direction.
