Isostatic pressing operating at room temperature is called ambient (cold) isostatic pressing. In recent years, both the ceramic and powder metallurgy industries have adopted HIP operation.
Isostatic pressing technology is also one of the main processes for the production of overall wear-resistant ceramic pipes. There are many leaps in density, hardness and wear resistance, and the service life of self-propagating technology is several times that of centrifugally cast ceramic pipes.
