The main features of isostatic pressing are:

(3) Since the pressure in the high-pressure vessel is much higher than that of general molding, green compacts with higher bulk density can be prepared, and even binderless molding of petroleum coke powder can be performed;
(4) It can produce green bodies with complex shapes, such as spherical or tubular green bodies can be directly pressed;

When the material is loaded into the mold, the edges and corners are not easy to be filled by the material. Cylinder. Containers capable of withstanding high pressure. There are generally two structural forms: one is made of two layers of simplified heat-packed, the inner cylinder is in a state of compression, and the outer cylinder is in a state of tension. This structure is only suitable for small and medium-sized isostatic pressing molding equipment; the other The first is to use steel wire prestressed winding structure, use high-strength alloy steel with good mechanical properties as the core body, and then use high-strength steel wire to wrap around the outside of the core tube according to the pre-stress requirements to form a certain thickness of steel wire layer, so that the core tube can withstand a lot of pressure. large compressive stress. Even under working conditions, it does not bear tensile stress or very small tensile stress. This kind of container has a high lifespan and can manufacture containers with larger diameters. The upper and lower plugs of the container are movable, and when pressurized, the upper and lower plugs transmit the force to the frame.
