Process characteristics
SMD wear-resistant ceramic pipes: the aluminothermic-centrifugal method is used to combine ceramics and metals organically, and the aluminothermic-centrifugal method is used to prepare lined ceramic steel pipes. Self-propagating composite pipeline: ceramic powder + iron oxide powder + magnesium oxide powder are mixed in proportion (the main component is iron oxide, black), the two ends of the pipeline are sealed, the powder is added, the pipeline is rotated, electronically ignited, and sintered in the pipeline by centrifugal method inner wall.
Integral calcined ceramic pipe: According to the mold, the ceramic powder is sintered into a ceramic pipe, and then combined with the steel pipe. The outer wall of the ceramic tube and the inner wall of the steel tube are assembled by pouring a special filler (cement or epoxy resin) inside the steel tube, and then isostatically pressed.

1. Good wear resistance
Since the inner lining of the ceramic composite pipe is corundum ceramic (a-AL2O3), the Mohs hardness can reach 9.0, which is equivalent to HRC90 or more. Therefore, it has high wear resistance for abrasive media transported by metallurgy, electric power, mining, coal and other industries. It has been proved by industrial operation that its wear resistance life is ten times or even dozens of times that of hardened steel.
2. Corrosion resistance, anti-scaling
Since the steel ceramic layer is (a-AL2O3), it is a neutral character. Therefore, it has acid and alkali resistance and seawater corrosion resistance, and at the same time has the characteristics of anti-scaling and so on.
3. Low running resistance
Because the inner surface of SHS ceramic composite pipe is smooth and never corroded, it does not have convex helixes on the inner surface of seamless steel pipes. The internal surface roughness and water resistance characteristics of the relevant testing units have been tested, and the internal surface smoothness is better than that of any metal pipe, and the clearing resistance coefficient is 0.0193, which is slightly lower than that of seamless pipes. Therefore, the pipe has the characteristics of low running resistance, which can reduce the running cost.
4. Good temperature resistance and heat-resistant punching performance
Because of the corundum ceramic (a-AL2O3), it is a single stable crystalline structure. Therefore, the composite pipe can operate normally for a long time in the temperature range of -50--700℃. The linear expansion coefficient of the material is 6-8×10-6/0C, which is about 1/2 of the steel pipe. The material has good thermal stability.
5. Low engineering cost
Ceramic composite pipes are light in weight and affordable. It is 50% lighter than the cast stone pipe of the same inner diameter; 20-30% lighter than the wear-resistant alloy pipe, and has good wear resistance and corrosion resistance.
